His Guys - about the guys!
His Guys is a group
of talented young men from Northeast Arkansas.
They began singing together in their home church in 1998.
When they decided to sing a special together one Sunday, who would have
known that a few years later they would be following the Lord’s direction as
they ventured into a full-blown Southern Gospel Music/Worship Ministry. Singing in area revivals,
church services, theatres, and various special functions, this group of guys
began to make a name for themselves.
His Guys are taking the road with one shared vision, to minister through their
music about their one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. Along with their concerts
in area churches, His Guys have professionally shared the concert stage with
some of Southern Gospel’s finest.
They have also been honored to share the stage with Dove Award nominee, Higher
Faith and with nationally known southern gospel trio, Paid In Full.
By God’s good graces, His Guys have been able to minister in Arkansas,
Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee and are looking forward to
extending their ministry field. The purpose of His Guys
ministries is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song in an exciting,
hand clapping-foot stompin’ fashion.
They are able to attract and satisfy a very diverse crowd.
Singing uncompromising Southern Gospel Music with conviction and doing so
faithfully has been a large contribution to their success.
They have a true respect for their Southern Gospel heritage and the
combination of their talent and special bond allows Jesus to shine and work
through them to bless their listeners. His Guys completed their
first recording in January of 2000.
Their first project is entitled “All For
Him” and was completed at Daywind Studios in Hendersonville, TN.
His Guys has since completed a project entitled “His Guys – His Way.”
In 2001, His Guys entered the national stage when they entered the talent
contest at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY.
Out of 67 groups ranging from California to Canada to New York to Florida
to Texas, His Guys finished 12th amongst a humbling amount of talent
from some of southern gospel music’s finest young groups.
The guys are quick to give all praise and glory to Jesus!
Hometown boys from nearby small towns have experienced many ups and downs and have learned through prayer and faith that together God can use anyone willing to open their lives to HIS will. They each have a strong relationship with Christ and work together to be accountable for one another. It’s that binding strength and their commitment to each other that is the source of their success and is evident in their ministry.

They also believe in pure and fresh Christian worship.
With great vocals, honest testimonies, humorous stories, and a worshipful
attitude, His Guys wish to be a valued addition to any concert or church
service. Pat Price, lead singer of
Dove Award nominee HIGHER FAITH, says:
“His Guys has a
tremendous ministry started. Their
hearts are on the Lord and that is the main ingredient necessary for them to
maintain a successful music ministry.
Their song selection is great and their on-stage delivery is equally as
good. I was very impressed with the
quality of their staging and emceeing.”
His Guys believe that becoming an empty vessel and letting Jesus Christ shine THROUGH them is the key to maintaining a focus on WHY they have been chosen to spread the gospel through their music and their testimony. Combining a love for Christ, family support, their deep friendships, and a love for music is truly what sets this Southern Gospel Quartet on their way to becoming a true and effective ministry for the Lord. |
