STEPS FOR GROWING YOUR
FAITH ::
STEPS FOR GROWING IN YOUR FAITH | STEPS were created by Bellevue Baptist Church to help you to grow in your faith, but we at First Baptist Keiser believe each and every one of these. We know that it will help you get that much closer to the Living God.
Studying God's Word shows Christians how to be obedient to God as you read it, remember it, and relate it to life.
Spending time in prayer will provide for your needs, produce a change in your perspective, and preserve and protect you through every situation.
Experience the Joy of Worship. We experience the joy of worship when we prepare our hearts to encounter God, praise God for who He is, and present ourselves for His service.
Participate with Other Christians. Fellowship with other Christians is important because it provides believers encouragement, exhortation, and empowerment to live the Christian life.
When we share our faith with others. God's love is spread, lives are changed, and the lost saved.
Continue Your Christian Journey!
A journey begins with a single, first step. You've taken that all important first step of your Christian faith by receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Now that your Christian journey has begun, there are other steps to take as you walk the Christian path. During these first days and weeks, while your decision is fresh, you can establish a pattern for Christian growth that can last a lifetime.
The following information will help you take those early steps. It has been designed with you in mind. In the pages that follow, you'll discover how to grow in your faith through Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship, and witness.
Read each section when you're fresh. Take notes if you'd like to. Memorize the key verses given in the "A Word from God" section. Then, begin reading through the Gospel of John. Try to read one chapter each day. Also, use the suggestions about Bible study and prayer to help you.
May Christ bless you richly as you seek to know Him and make Him known.
